Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Communications Lead, US Commercial to join our Enterprise Communications team.


As a member of our Enterprise Communications team, the Communications Lead, United States Commercial, will be responsible for managing communications for our U.S. commercial business, Corteva's largest geography. This role will work in a fast-paced environment, elevate how Corteva communicates and engages with our U.S. Commercial employees and sales representatives, support communications about our products and offerings, and raise awareness of the Commercial team's efforts and accomplishments. This is an individual contributor role based at Corteva's headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States.


Primary Responsibilities - How will you help us Grow!

  • Support the President of North America Commercial in articulating their vision, strategies, and business priorities for the United States.

  • Lead proactive and reactive communications, and counsel senior U.S Commercial leaders on communication efforts.

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Communications Director, Employee and Leadership Communications Head, and other leaders and colleagues within Public Affairs to support execution of an integrated communications strategy for U.S. Commercial.

  • Develop and deliver compelling messaging to meet business objectives and inform, inspire and engage colleagues.

  • Integrate technologies, data, and best practices to ensure continued effectiveness of messaging across audiences.

  • Work across the business to find, develop, and communicate stories about our U.S. Commercial colleagues and achievements.

  • Support global media team with issues management specific to the U.S. Commercial business.

  • Collaborate with the Government and Industry Affairs team to communicate effectively on policies, regulations, and other areas of identified importance, and to champion local community investment initiatives.

  • Lead and support ad-hoc communication projects, including signature agriculture programs/events.

  • Support global initiatives and campaigns by leading U.S. Commercial-specific communications.


Experience and Education - What you'll bring to the table!

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or other related fields.

  • Experienced communications professional with 7+ years of experience supporting communication efforts in a corporate environment.

  • Ability to critically assess any given issue and provide counsel on recommended path forward.

  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization effectively and independently.

  • Previous experience in working with the agriculture or chemical sector preferred.

  • Strategic mindset that fosters innovative, creative thinking.

  • Experience influencing and consulting with key stakeholders.

  • Results driven; ability to successfully execute and manage through ambiguity.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; exceptional public speaker.

  • Effective collaborator, facilitating conversations to bring alignment and confront tough issues.

  • Ability to successfully navigate challenging opportunities to meet objectives and deadlines; solves complex problems with minimal guidance.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly adapt to changing needs.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Ability to travel when necessary
