Cowboy Creative Internship Opportunity  

Location: Remote for the right applicant, based in Manhattan, KS if possible

Duration: 3-10 months (flexible based on intern availability)

Hours: 10-15 hours per week


About The Cowboy Creative:

The Cowboy Creative is dedicated to empowering creatives within the western industry through photography, business development, and community connection. Our mission is to help creatives turn their passion into thriving businesses, while showcasing the cowboy way of life through meaningful content and events like our annual retreat.


Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate, creative intern who is excited about western photography, branding, and content creation to join our team. This unpaid internship will provide hands-on experience in marketing, social media, and event coordination, offering insight into the world of creative business and entrepreneurship.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in content creation for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)  

  • Help plan and coordinate styled photoshoots, events, and retreats  

  • Research and engage with trends in the western industry and creative entrepreneurship  

  • Support email campaigns, newsletter creation, and other marketing efforts  

  • Collaborate on business development strategies and outreach initiatives  

  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed


Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in western photography, the cowboy lifestyle, or creative entrepreneurship  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  

  • Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing  

  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) are a plus  

  • Self-motivated, creative thinker with the ability to work independently  

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a growing business
