Marketing Assistant - Mega Equine Marketing

Mega Equine Marketing is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Director in managing and growing social media accounts for equine businesses. This role is ideal for someone with a marketing and equine industry background who wants to gain hands-on experience in content creation, strategy, and brand development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing social media marketing strategies across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).

  • Create engaging content, including graphics, captions, and short-form videos/reels, tailored to each platform’s audience.

  • Schedule and post content using social media management tools.

  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster online community growth.

  • Assist in developing marketing plans and promotional campaigns for clients.

  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to improve social media performance.

  • Collaborate with the marketing director on branding and advertising initiatives.

  • Assist in reporting analytics and key performance metrics to track social media success.

  • Support other marketing-related tasks as needed.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in marketing, social media management, or digital content creation.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.

  • Intermediate graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

  • Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Self-motivated and creative thinker.

  • Photography and/or video editing skills are a plus.

  • Background or experience in the equine industry is highly preferred.
